About the Alaska MMIP Peer Support Group

This group was created as a safe and supportive space for those affected by MMIP to come together, share experiences, and find strength in one another. Whether you are seeking emotional support, resources, or simply a connection with others who understand, know that you are not alone. Your voice, your story, and your presence matter here.

As a peer-led support group, we encourage open, respectful conversations and active listening. We recognize that this journey can be difficult, and we want you to feel supported every step of the way. A certified victim advocate will facilitate the group to provide guidance and ensure a safe, inclusive space, but discussions will be participant-driven.

Confidentiality is essential to creating a trusting and supportive environment. To protect each member’s privacy, we ask that all discussions remain within the group. By honoring this, we can foster a space where everyone feels comfortable expressing themselves, seeking healing, and finding solidarity.
